Located in the charming village of Chester, Connecticut River Tavern has been a proud pioneer of locally sourced cooking in Connecticut since 2001. Our daily menus highlight the freshest local produce available that day. We work with the best local farmers, fishermen + producers in the area year round to create a menu that truly reflects its place and season.

WORLD-CLASS ART

A substantial selection of longtime Chester resident Sol LeWitt 's prints, on loan from the Lewitt foundation, enhance the walls of the restaurant giving the 19th century building a touch of modernism.
